About the Whatcom Interpreter Network

Whatcom Interpreter Network is made up of sign language interpreters who are certified by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and/or the National Association of the Deaf (NAD). Our interpreters have all completed interpreter training programs or equivalent (long-term involvement in the Deaf community resulting in ASL fluency, for example), and have at least 10 years' experience as professional interpreters. In addition, each interpreter is devoted to furthering skills through professional skill-development workshops as well as through community interaction and membership in professional organizations. Go to our members members page to find out more about our interpreters, or for membership information.

W.I.N. interpreters are committed to providing independent, professional interpreting services and information to the greater Whatcom and Skagit county areas, in accordance with RID and prevailing community standards.
