Some interpreting situations require interpreters with additional
specific training, knowledge, or skills. W.I.N. strives to match
interpreters and assignments as closely as circumstances allow.
W.I.N. reserves the right to refer clients to alternate service
providers when W.I.N. cannot appropriately match an interpreter
to an assignment.
Responsible Party
Federal law requires that certain public agencies be responsible
for providing and paying for interpreter services (see Laws
Governing Service). We suggest familiarizing yourself with your
legal obligations. An interpreter can usually determine who bears
responsibility for payment, but you are welcome to call our pager
and leave a message for one of our community advocates if questions
about payment obligation arise. |
